The 18-hole ANARA Binh Tien Nara golf club not only has endless views overlooking the East Sea but is also blessed with the majestic natural scenery of gentle mountain slopes, small green forests and cool coastal air.

Nara Binh Tien Golf & Beach Resort is 45 kilometers south of Cam Ranh International Airport and 90 kilometers from Nha Trang, a popular tourist destination. Golfplan’s Kevin Ramsey and David Dale created an 18-hole championship golf course that runs across a gently undulating natural sandy location and gives a wonderful golf experience. The Binh Tien golf course is located on a lovely crescent-shaped coastline flanked by low hills and sprinkled with clusters of rocky outcrops.

The course offers breathtaking vistas of high, tree-lined hills to the west and the sea to the east. The contrast in landscape is peculiar to this region of Vietnam. The course is a dunes course, however there are pockets of trees and palms scattered among the holes.

Each hole offers several teeing alternatives and pin placements, allowing for a variety of playing possibilities. Wind direction also influences the paying method, necessitating cautious club selection. The use of platinum paspalum grass throughout provides superb striking surfaces.

Transitions from mountains to the sea are included in the golf course design, with various vistas providing variety to the golf experience. The initial nine courses are flatter and traverse rebuilt dunes with plenty of water hazards and palm plants. There is considerable elevation variation on the back nine. The holes go through natural woodland and rock outcroppings before returning to the beach and clubhouse.

The first hole takes golfers through recreated dunes and offers them a taste of what’s to come. Holes three through five are located throughout the lake and provide a unique experience. The ninth hole back in the dunes is the front nine’s showpiece.

The back nine is more organic. Each hole’s playing strategy and frame are influenced by original hardwood trees and rock outcrops. Holes twelve through eighteen play up the hillside and have ocean vistas from a variety of vantage points. Teeing off from the highest elevation gives the thirteenth hole the greatest vistas on the Bien Tien golf course. The Vietnam coastline, including several small offshore islands in the distance, is visible, making the teeing grounds a popular Instagram moment. Golfers at Nara should expect a good and spectacular finish on the eighteenth, straight in front of the clubhouse.
